Do I often write trying to make myself sound smarter than I am? Yes.
Do I write just for the sake of writing and not with a specific idea I’m trying to convey? Absolutely.
In the case of these blog posts, often I’m just pounding out words and hoping it cobbles together into something half-intelligible.
But if I write so that I sound like someone else and don't have a clear point to share and maybe my main goal is actually how my writing sounds and not that non-existing-point I should be trying to make, is it me that is writing at all?
The core comes before the skin of the apple and so we should be concerned with the meaning and direction of our artwork first and then be concerned with how it looks last.
