Setting rapidly attainable goals gives you the energy to spend your time better and get more done in less time.
I rode my bike today and wanted to average 16mph for the extent of my ride.
I just bought a computer on my bike that gives me a bunch of data, including my current speed (very convenient for this goal I’d set for myself!)
Pacing myself to stay above 16mph was easy because I had the rapidly attainable goal of getting up to or above 16mph at all moments and I could see whether I was doing that.
Building on what I wrote about yesterday, effectively building these chunks within a set number of work hours is the key to getting more done in less time.
Of course, during those work hours, you must be disciplined and work!
