Everybody I run into these days seems to be interested in improving the world. But what’s the big fuss about? Can you or I change the world?
We can spend our life trying and there is no way to measure something as ambiguous as “change the world”.
What I think makes the world better and what you think makes the world better is probably different. Some groups will never reconcile extreme beliefs (extreme from my perspective, at least) with the go-along-to-get-along crowd (who are most people.)
What if the best way to change the world is to change yourself for the better?
What if we all took a humility pill and worked tirelessly to critique ourselves and accept criticism (asked or foisted) from others in this relentless pursuit of getting better?
What if our living better, working harder for better, and kindness exhibited to everyone around us what would happen if they began to change a little.
Maybe that’s the best way to change the world.
