Route 005

22.5 Miles. 1,600ft Elevation. In this hilly route be prepared for a few of punchy climbs that tend to break up the group. While this means you will get friendly with your group faster, it also means your legs will be in pain. We head east toward Ephrata and climb the small hills of Orchard Rd. and Maple Farms Rd. before the short, but very steep Lake St. climb in Ephrata. We then take the rail trail west and tackle our final climb up Brunnerville Rd. to complete the trip back to Lititz.

We head westward in this route and the three short climbs are Temperance Hill, W. Sun Hill Rd., and Highlands Dr., as we then swing back toward Lititz to complete this ride.

19.6 Miles. 830ft Elevation. This route takes us westward and just north of Salunga through the rolling farmlands of Lancaster county. This route is pretty flat and should be a good time no matter your experience riding a bike. Aside from the beautiful farmlands we ride through, you may also catch a peek of the vast automobile lot just south of Manheim which serves some type of function for the auto auction in town. The final two miles of this route are generally downhill so you will finish in town with good tempo.
