I did not want to live my life

The twenty years you have from age 20 to age 40 is probably going to be the physical peak and most energy-laded period of your life. What are you doing with it?

I was told be a few close people I know growing up that I needed to live my life more, to be a kid and to spend more time with friends and going to parties, drinking, and all the other mess the comes with it. I was told I would regret not doing all that stuff.

(this was very much NOT my parents recommending me to live this life)

As I’ve turned 30 and I know that I’m halfway to probably feeling like I’m ready to slow it down a bit, I’ve concluded that partying away your 20’s and maybe even your 30’s would have been the greatest regret ever!

The work I’ve put in through my 20’s has changed my life and set up any success I currently have.

Maybe the middle-aged guy who spent his 20’s partying is still hustling his face off to make ends meet because he never used those peak years for building for his future?
