When you’re just getting started, you can probably tell that you’re not that good. The good news is that you don’t have to be good. You just have to be able to tell that you aren’t good yet.
It takes time to get good and develop those skills. What you have to do is create lots of work. Volumes of work. New work every week, every month, and every year.
Ship project after project. Even the stuff that is terrible. Make it and move on.
It takes months and years, but never let the end result discourage you from getting after it and getting better.
Make the stuff and the making will make you better.
