I wrote a post on this blog a couple of days ago about not waiting to hit the lottery and being content with working for a paycheck. Work, work, work, and the “lottery” hits will come.
But I think we need to also be careful not to be so consumed with working for that paycheck that we lose all foresight.
We don’t want to live our life only protecting what we already have and focusing on short-term gains.
When we apply all of our attention to the happenings right now, we leave no time or room for the future and for taking risks that will launch us and our company to the next level.
How much would your life or business change if you set aside a specific amount of time and money for experimenting and trying new things?
