My mom was always quick with the quip, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” I would get so frustrated when she said that, probably because she was rightly pointing out how my lack of grit was causing me to give up when I ran into adversity.
With the current pandemic and hysteria surrounding it, do we step back and let the pandemic wash over us, or do we stand up and take the opportunity to do more?
