Until it’s proved to be correct. If you go back in time, how many scientific theories that everyone dismissed as crazy at the moment turned out to be correct?
And how many other theories have been held sacred by advocates of science-above-all-else that also turned out to be false?
The science of yesterday is the debunked theory of today in many cases.
There are plenty of the so-called “science deniers” that sounds completely crazy, but I can’t help but hold in my judgment a little bit because what initially sounds crazy has sometimes (maybe more than just “sometimes”) ended up being closer to the truth than the so-called intellectual solution.
